1940s Schaubach Kunst porcelain female with ball
designed by K.Steiner.
Here we have a wonderful and quite big Porcelain figure by “Schaubach-Kunst”,
Germany, from the 40s.
This figure was made in 2 versions, one just white glazed and
the one we have here, coloured and glazed just in the white parts,
the ball, the dress and the base. Her body and head are matt coloured
without glazing.
The sculpture represents a young woman in a gymnastic pose with
a ball and dressing accordingly with a typical sport outfit in
white.
Her body is modelled very detailed, slender but very well formed.
Her face shows a deep concentration but relax too. Her eyes are
blue, the hair blonde and her lips are showing a nice red colour.
All of these details have been hand painted; you can even see
the painter mark besides the porcelain mark under the base.
Evidently, she was fitting perfectly with the beauty standards
of her time.
She is signed under the glazing behind the feet "K. Steiner".
Condition; Very good, just a bit of the hair colour is rubbed
off, no chips, cracks or repairs.

Figura femenina de porcelana de los años
40 de la marca Schaubach-Kunst diseñada por K.Steiner.
En este caso les presentamos una maravillosa y bastante grande
figura de la casa “Schaubach-Kunst”, Alemania, de
los años 40.
Esta figura fue editada en 2 versiones, una solamente en blanco
vidriado y la que les presentamos aquí, coloreada y vidriada
solamente en las partes blancas, la bola, el vestido y la base.
El cuerpo y la cabeza están coloreados mate sin vidriar.
La escultura representa a una mujer joven en una pose gimnástica
con una pelota y vestida adecuadamente con un típico traje
de deporte en blanco.
Su cuerpo está modelado muy detalladamente, estilizado
pero muy bien formado.
En su cara se puede apreciar una gran concentración, pero
tambien parece relajada. Sus ojos son azules, su cabello rubio
y sus labios un encantador color rojo. Todos estos detalles han
sido pintados a mano y se puede incluso ver la marca del decorador
en la base junto a la marca de la porcelana.
Evidentemente ella encajaba perfectamente en los cánones
de belleza de su tiempo.
La figura ha sido diseñada por K.Steiner, y tiene el nombre
impreso en la base, detrás de los pies, bajo el vidriado.
Condición; Muy buena, solo el color del cabello está
un poco desgastado, no hay desportillados, hilos o reparaciones.
