1950s Schaubach Kunst – Goebel porcelain lady
with Borzoi.
Here we have a wonderful and quite big Porcelain figure designed
by “Schaubach-Kunst”, and produced by Goebel after
the Schaubach nationalization, Germany, from the 50s.
The sculpture represents a young woman in a dynamic pose running
with her dog and dressing as if they were running along the beach
with a white with clear blue shades bikini and a foulard around
her neck.
Her body is modelled very detailed, slender but very well formed
and the dog looks graceful, strong, and swift just as a good Borzoi
(Russian greyhound) has to look.
Her face shows a relaxed enjoyment with her serene smile. Her
eyes are blue, the hair blonde and her lips are showing a fresh
red colour. All of these details have been hand painted.
Evidently, she was fitting perfectly with the “Pin-Up”
beauty standards of her time.
This figure is coloured and glazed just in the white parts, the
dog, the bikini and the base. Her body and head are matt coloured
without glazing. The dog and the lady have golden details, she
wears 2 golden bracelets, and the dog has gold accents on the
nails, eyes and tongue.
Condition; Very good, just a bit of the hair colour is rubbed
off, no chips, cracks or repairs.
Signed; Schau 12, Shaubach kunst and Goebel mark with the full
bee, corresponding to the marks used between 1953-1956, after
the Goebel porcelain factory got the rights from Heinz Schauback
for to use his mark and models after the expropriation of his
factory by the now disappeared East German Republic (GDR).
The mark is for the first quality items.

Dama de porcelana con Galgo Ruso de los años
50, Schaubach Kunst – Goebel.
Esta es una maravillosa figura de porcelana Alemana bastante grande
diseño de “Schaubach-Kunst”, producida por
Goebel después de la nacionalización de Schaubach
en los años 50.
La escultura representa a una joven dama en una pose dinámica
corriendo junto a su perro y vestida como si lo estuvieran haciendo
en la playa, con un bikini blanco con acentos de azul claro y
un foulard al cuello.
Su cuerpo está modelado con gran detalle, delgada pero
muy bien formada y el perro aparece elegante, fuerte y veloz,
exactamente como un buen galgo ruso tiene que ser.
Su cara muestra un placer relajado con su sonrisa serena. Sus
ojos son azules, el cabello rubio y sus labios tiene un fresco
color rojo. Todos estos detalles han sido pintados a mano.
Evidentemente encaja perfectamente con los cánones de belleza
de su época.
La figura esta coloreada y solamente vidriada en la zonas blancas,
el perro el bikini y la base. El cuerpo y cabeza están
coloreados en mate sin vidriado. El perro y la chica tienen toques
dorados, ella lleva 2 brazaletes dorados y el perro tiene detalles
dorados en las uñas, ojos y lengua.
Condición; Muy buena, solo un poco de desgaste en el color
del cabello, ni desportillados ni pelos ni reparaciones.
Firmada; Schau 12, Shaubach kunst y marca de Goebel con la abeja
grande, correspondiendo a las marcas usadas entre 1953-1956, después
de que la casa Goebel obtuviera los derechos de Heinz Schauback
para usar sus modelos y marcas después de la expropiación
de su factoría por la ahora desaparecida Alemania del este,
Republica Democrática Alemana (RDA).
La marca corresponde a los productos de primera calidad.
