Moser Jugendstil Enamelled Vase.
Nice example of enamelled secessionist Jugendstil
decoration on a canary yellow and white marbled background. It
is attributed to Moser by its special glass colour.
The vase has a semi baluster form typical for the time and it’s
enhanced by the superb golden decoration highlighted with red
lines.
The rim is also gilded and highlighted with a red waved line.
The back of the vase wears the inscription “Swinemünde”
in golden letters referring to SWINEMUNDE.
This former German port and seaside resort is situated at the
east extremity of the island of Usedom in the former Prussian
province of Pomerania.
Being the most famous German seaside resort on the Baltic Sea,
Swinemünde was known as a cosmopolitan spa up to the forties
of the last century until it fell to Poland at the end of WW II.
Condition:
Good in general but having several “flea-bites” in
the inside part of the rim. It has been intensively used.

Jarron Jugendstil Moser Esmaltado.
Bello ejemplo de decoración esmaltada de
estilo Jugendstil secesionista sobre un fondo amarillo canario
con vetas blancas. Está atribuido a Moser por su especial
coloración.
El jarrón tiene forma semi abalaustrada, típica
de la época y está realzado con la espléndida
decoración dorada resaltada con líneas rojas.
La cara trasera del jarrón presenta la inscripción
“Swinemünde” en letras doradas, refiriéndose
a SWINEMUNDE.
Este fue antiguamente un puerto Alemán y lugar de vacaciones
a la orilla del mar y está situado en el extremo este de
la isla de Usedom en la antigua provincia prusiana de Pomerania.
Habiendo sido el lugar de veraneo alemán a las orillas
del mar Báltico, Swinemünde fue conocido como un balneario
cosmopolita hasta los años 40 del siglo pasado, cuando
cayó bajo el poder de Polonia al final de la 2ª Guerra
Mundial.
Condición;
En general buena, pero presenta numerosos desportillados en la
parte interior del borde. Ha sido utilizado intensamente.
