Art Nouveau Coffee-Set by WMF around 1904.

The set consists of a coffeepot, milk jug and sugar bowl with a decoration of sparingly used lines.
They structure the handles and bodies.
The cover of the coffeepot has a cone shaped handle with four rings around the base.
The design of this set is interesting because its not the applied decoration that makes it Art Nouveau but the combination of the forms of handles and bodies.

Marked on the bottom “OX“, “WMF G“-mark with running ostrich and “I/O“, the coffeepot additionally with 2r“ and “390“, the model number.

Condition:
Coffeepot obviously re-plated time ago, the other two items with some dents.

Juego de café WMF art nouveau, hacia 1904.

El juego consiste en una cafetera, una jarrita para leche y un azucarero con decoración de unas pocas líneas.
Estas estructuran la forma de los cuerpos y asas.
La tapa de la cafetera tiene un pomo con forma de cono y cuatro líneas alrededor de la base.
El diseño de este set es interesante porque no es la decoración aplicada lo que lo hace art nouveau, sino la combinación de los cuerpos y las asas.

Marcado en las bases con “OX“, “WMF G“- marca con el avestruz corriendo y “I/O“, la cafetera también con “2r“ y “390“, el numero de modelo.

Condición;
Obviamente la cafetera ha sido re-plateada hace tiempo, las otras dos piezas con algunos golpes.
