Art Deco H. Moreau Night Lamp.

Art Deco H. Moreau Night Lamp.

When we were going to prepare the description for this article, we were having a hard doubt; shall it go to the lamps or to the figures section?
Finally we have decided that the outstanding side of this piece are the strongly cubistic Art Deco sculptures signed by H.Moreau. France, 1920-1925.
It is showing a pair of funny birds, we think they are marabous, with a strong geometric design, and with their cross-eyed eyes made of glass, looking astonished to the light, may be they think it is the moon.
