Art Deco Walnut Box.

This is another very good example of a German Art Deco box from around 1920-25.
In this case the shape is strongly inspired in the Egyptian style so popular in this time
It is veneered with a beautifully book-matched and very well figured walnut tree veneer for the body and especially for the cover. The cover sides are furnished with a stripped walnut veneer.
The knob is made of massive walnut and the curved feet too.
The condition is original and very good.

Caja Art Deco de Nogal.

Este es otro buen ejemplo de caja Art Deco alemán de alrededor de 1920-25.
En este caso la forma está fuertemente inspirada en el estilo egipcio tan popular en la época.
Está chapada en nogal con combinación simétrica y un veteado muy bueno para el cuerpo y especialmente para la tapa. Los laterales de la tapa están cubiertos por chapa de nogal en este caso rayada.
El pomo y los pies curvados también son de nogal.
La condición es original y muy buena.
