This is a beautilful small Konsole with a Carl Sigmund
Luber tile depicting a woman in profile.
The lady's face is hand painted and Luber himself was doing this
work in his tiles with ladys.
The Frame is made of brass with some gilding left.
This is an oustanding piece, furniture pieces with Luber Von Schwarz
tiles are not seen very often.
The last time that one of this pieces was being sold in an auction
house was in 2006.
The wood is mahogany. It had a crack and now is reglued and having
new shellack.
The frame has the number 1295 in a corner and the tile the nr.
628 appearing in the Luber catalogue by W.König.

Consola Jugendstil de Carl Sigmund Luber.
Esta es una bella pequeña consola con un
azulejo decorativo diseñado por Carl Sigmund Luber representando
una dama de perfil.
El rostro de la dama está pintado a mano por el mismo Carl
Luber que se encargaba personalmente de este trabajo en sus azulejos
con damas.
La montura es de latón con restos de dorado.
Esta es una pieza excepcional, mobiliario con azulejos de Luber
- Von Schwarz, no se ven muy a menudo.
La última vez que una de estas piezas ha sido vendida en
una casa de subastas, fué en el año 2006.
La madera es caoba. Tenía una fisura que ahora está
encolada y lacada de nuevo.
La montura tiene el Nº 1295 en una esquina y el azulejo el
Nº 628, apareciendo en el catálogo de Luber por W.
König.
